Comments:  Hi Thats a cool site that you have maintained and a service rendered to modern society. Its sad to know that many of our own people know very less about the history and culture of the holy motherland. While many a visiting foreign traveller wouldknow much more. Its like the paradox of grass is greener on the other side. The Americans, The Europeans Japanese throng our cities and sites while we like fools go to other countries forgetting the richness of our own past. The Past is like an window to the futute and each one of us has to shoulder some responsibility if the oldest religion among mankind is to maintain its unique position. Vande Mataram!! Jai Hind!! Comments:  Dear Mrs. Sushma, Your effort is laudable. However I would like to point out that the term "hinduism" itself is a misnomer coined by the arabs to refer to people on the other side of the river sindhu. We true to our tolerant nature have accepted it. The sanatana dharma is the vedic dharma. While you have dedicated this site to the demi-god ganesha perhaps you should also mention about the bhagawad gita and who god really is. Why dont you check out these sites to educate yourself a bit more about hinduism. www.iskcon.org www.stephen-knapp.com

Especially those that are still overpowered by the colonial mindset, perhaps, will start thinking about how depraved thay have become by parroting the old cliches and distorted versions of their glorious antiquity and wisdom. I do hope this site is publicised as much as possible, and those who visit it at least once will take it as a source for all that needed to be known about Sanatan Dharma. I would be honored to contribute my mite in terms of scholarly contributions to the site in the days to come. Vaman Rao Professor of Economics Western Illinois University

Comments:  Namaste Sushmaji. After going through your life-history I pretty much feel that all of us Indians have come far in life when they come to think of our heritage and civilization. Believe me, I got interested in my civilization after viewing a French movie in a French channel which shows how the French value anybody who has a great civilization to boast of . The story was about a French couple adopting a boy from South America of Inca descent. Their own son who is biologically their own at first dislikes the adopted boy, but once when he is taught (which is done by his teachers, relatives and the like) how civilized the Incas were, all his dislike vanishes into thin air!! This is not to say that we should start thinking th

I have dreamt of a concept of 'born again hindus' from my own experience of life. I was born in a poor Brahmin family but had lived most of my adulthood as a socialist (pink communist)and an athiest - a non-believer. After my 13 years stay in India I have returned to England a year ago. The last five year of my Indian life and one single visit to Shri Aurobindo Ashram in Vadodara and a miracle happened for me and there I was - A Born Again Hindu... My website is still under construction... Jai Shree Krishna Jai Gurudev Vedant
