Comments:  It is clear to most learned people that modern accounts of our history are very flawed and it is about time that we started to look at the evidence correctly so that people can get a true and accurate understanding of who we are what we were and where we really came from. If we look at the Vimanas references it is easy to know that as is the understanding accepted could not have known about all the things accounted in the ancient text and given drawings for them and manuals on how to fly them. It would be wonderful to find out what the metals were and the fuel was and maybe one could be built Rasa one of the missing fuel parts that cannot be understood maybe there will be some reference one day in texts that make it easier for us to say o then that must be. Through out the earth people are finding ruins underwater thousands to millions of years old how is this possible and then some so-called expert scoffs and says they are natural formations what do they think we are worms just because we have 30% the same genes as some does not make us one. Ancient bowls parts of machines found in rock millions of years old give us credit let the earth know the truth. Thank you Agung.

It was a grand success. Children were very much impressed by the show. I suggest the like-minded people to put up such shows at their places. I believe propagating this Sanatana Dharma is like the humanity, because this Dharma teaches how to co-exist with mutual respect. I thank and congratulate all those responsible for bringing up this site. JAI HIND!

Comments:  This site is extraordinarily wonderful in giving facts and right way of thinking on Hinduism. I have seen many Western researchers comments on Hinduism, but their way of thinking/understanding does not come to the actual original thoughts on Hinduism. Understanding and commenting on Hinduism can be done only by those who, actually practice Hinduism and has good "PUNYA" from previous janmas by which one can have Buddhi in this janma to think about religion (which only can give Mukti). God will be happy on your effort to put Vedic knowledge for the public in the right sense. I also wish that recent renewal of practice of Hinduism by Lord Swaminaryan should be included in this site as it gives the right way of practicing Hinduism in the Kaliyuga. Thank you, thank you very much!

Comments:  I've been enjoying your site for over 3 months now and keep finding new and fascinating information. I notice that you have quotes on Hinduism from a huge variety of people. You do point out poet T.S. Eliot's use of Hindu symbols in his poetry (specifically The Wasteland). I don't know if you are aware that T. S. Eliot wrote (in 1933) that the great philosophers of India "make most of the great European philosophers look like schoolboys" which is quite an unexpected remark from a man who devoted his career to a defense of the European tradition and who had studied under Bertrand Russell, Josiah Royce, R. G. Collingwood, Harold Joachim, and Henri Bergson. (see, for example, http://ccbs.ntu.edu.tw/FULLTEXT/JR-PHIL/ew33375.htm). Please keep up your terrific work. (Note: Thank you for the information and link. It has been added to the chapter on Quotes).

Comments:  Namaskaar....This is my second entry because I wanted to mention something that was cleared up here which had been confusing me and many others and that is that if the caste system was brought in by "Aryan" invaders which ranks people by their color then how come the Dravadians in the south where the Aryans obviously never reached has such a rigid caste system and its not based on color because they are all dark!...this was a great point. This also proves that Aryan does not mean pure for color white as Hitler thought but pure as in civilized people or culture..meaning pure and not ignorant. I also like to thank " A tribute to Hinduism" for not only guiding me to the truth and strengthening my Hindu belief but also by giving me a dear friend by the name of Ranjay Kumar.

I am in great admiration for the person who created this site. Incredible job. It is a sweet coincidence and I am still in awe to have chanced upon this site. I happened to have a keen interest in theoretical physics and the science of cosmic and after reading books on these topics felt it was not enough and cannot answer so many questions that still pondered in my head. I knew that Ancients (Indians/Hindus) already know the science that we are trying to figure out today and must have that knowledge stored in our Sanskrit books. And then I found this site and what a wonderful gift it is for me. I as a True Hindu join my hands in “quest for the eternal truth of life” to Hinduism!!

Comments:  Om! I am feeling very great here while stating my comment. I am proud of my ancient ancestors which I believe are the South Kalingas but still I don’t think the other kingdom of the ancient times are weaker or greater. All Hindus pray the same way. They can pray whichever God they like in Hinduism. This site is a great achievement in the modern world to provide such valuable material. This information can disappear if not taken care of. One day all might be gone without any trace. But let the mankind of the Hindu origin bare the truth of it in some form of a soul, air, water, dirt, let them remember that their religion was once was guide for them, to create their own one. OM!

Comments:  A site amazing in its scope and depth, a commendable job. A small correction: in the first block (beginning with Oppenheimer's quote of Gita's verse) the penultimate paragraph (beginning with "The Bhagavad Gita gives us a perfect example of this predominance of the subjective outlook."), has a typographical error. The word 'because' in the last sentence ("Acting in this way thou wilt not because stained by guilt.") should read 'become.' Congratulations on your dedication and success. Regards VL. (Note: Thank you for pointing out the typographical error. I will correct it soon).

Comments:  While looking at your section on "Women in Hinduism" I noticed that there was no mention of a very famous saint revered by all Kashmiri Hindus and even some Kashmiri Muslims. I am talking about Saint Lalleshwari (commonly known as Lala Ded, or grandmother Lalla in Kashmir). In Kashmir, some people consider her a poet, some consider her a holy woman and some consider her a sufi, a Yogi, or a devotee of Shiva. Some even consider her an avatar. Every Kashmiri has some sayings of Lalla on the tip of his tongue. A link to a description of Saint Lalleshwari can be found at: http://ikashmir.org/new/displaymore.php?subitemkey=821&itemid=217&subchnm=Saints%20and%20Sages&subchkey=38&chname=Religion Also for more on Kashmiri Shaivism I would suggest the following link: http://www.kashmirshaivism.org/. Comments:  Sushama, You have done a great job by creating this web page. Your web page helps every person know all about our religion. Unluckily, your description about Yugas under "Concept of Time" - Introduction to Hinduism chapter is totally confusing. If you are following Swami Yuketeswar's theory, then you have to explain that in detail. I wish you would rewrite the whole chapter so that people will not be confused. According to the Bhagavad Gita (8.17), the Srimad Bhagavatam (3.11.19), the Vana parva of the Mahabharatha, and books such as Am I a Hindu? of Kirtha Yuga or Satya yuga (golden or truth age) is 1,728,000 years; Treta yuga is 1,296,000 years; Dvapara yuga is 864,000 years; and Kali Yuga is 432,000 years. One Maha Yuga is 4,32 million years. Each kalpa is composed of 1,000 maha yugas. A kalpa is thus equal to 4.32 billion human years. A kalpa is a single daytime period in the life of Brahma, the creator god. Two kalpas are a day and a night of Brahma. The lifespan of Brahma is 100 Brahma years, or 72,000 kalpas, or 311.04 trillion human years.. Once again, if you want to follow Swami Yukteswar's theory that the length of the yugas are Satya Yuga, 4800 years; Treta Yuga, 3600 years; Dwapara Yuga, 2400 years; and Kali Yuga, 1200 years, then you have to describe that theory in detail. It will be a very good idea if you can re-write the chapter presenting both theories. Once again all of us are very grateful for your informative web page. (Please note: Thank you for your suggestions. More details by Swami Yuketeswar will be added in the future).
