Comments:  This site truly enriches the lives of the people who read it, this site has taken away all my misgivings and illusions about my own religion, and I must say for a person just out of school it is really saddening to know that textbooks in our country can just leave out some very important information regarding our own culture and history. All through school I was forced to remember the names of the books written by Kalidasa and I remember thinking I would read the books someday just to see why I was being forced to remember the names of books so very old but now I have stopped looking for the English Version of these books and I am fully determined to learn the language they were written in before going on to read them. Finally I would like to say that this site is inspiring knowing so much more of my culture and heritage makes me want to be a better individual in every which way.

Comments:  Hello, Sanatan people. Addictive that this site is, I visit it every day and love to read all the comments. It fills my heart with so much pride, having born into this culture. Here I must stress that I am not talking about Hinduism as a religion, but as UNIVERSAL PRINCIPALS. All are welcome to gain from this pool of knowledge. I am not at all surprised (while going through almost all the pages of comments) apart from the contributions made by Hindus, hundreds were from Europeans, Chinese, Russians, Americans, Jews, etc. only a few (well under 10) were from Muslims. It pleases me greatly that there are intelligent people out there who value this vastness of knowledge, by not just looking at it as a particular culture or religion. As I had said in my previous comment (remove the word Hinduism, which is geographical) the rest is truly universal applying to all matter living or otherwise. I am grateful to the creator of this site, enriching so many souls. May your God (since we all know him by different names) bless you all. Regards, Govind.

Comments:  India these days is the cartoon network of the world and Hindus are its Characters. They are crying over the destruction of a Babri Mosque but no one talk about the lakhs of temples which were destructed in the Muslim Countries after that mainly in Pakistan and Bangladesh. What about the crores of temples which were destructed by Muslim invaders? These secular parties like Congress, Lalu, Left, Paswan and Mulyam Singh are real enemies of our country who are selling this country once again. The Temples in Pakistan are in deteriorated conditions but we alone have taken the contract of goodness in the world and will practice secularism till invaders this time from inside came and take away our wives, sisters and daughters. My dear Hindu brothers wake up! And remember by casting a single vote to a secular party you are indeed selling your mother. Make India Bharatvarsh, which we Hindus do not get in Pakistan, Bangladesh and other Muslim Countries that we will not allow any one to get in our Country. Please don't become the jokers of the world that any one hits you even Bangladesh and you in return are licking his boots.

Comments:  We Hindus are a most idiot people on this earth. These so called Secularvadis who have lost half of the country because of their policies, but we are still giving votes to them. It's a pity that today’s Hindus who are descendents of Rishi Munis do not know about their ancient religion but feel proud in sending their Children in Convent or English Schools where they develop as rotten minds and are good for nothing.99% of Hindus today don't know about the inner life. They are living like animals and are cowards of a last degree. They feel proud in declaring that their daughters are having boy friends. If we want to change this:- 1. Stop voting to the parties who declare themselves secular. 2. Stop believing that Democracy is the best form of the Government. 3. Study your ancient religion and try to know about inner form of life. 4. Be ready to die for the cause of your religion. 5. Consider Secularism an abuse to your mother.

Comments:  India should have long been recognized as a world power; however due the teachings of non-aggressiveness by Hinduism and later Buddhism we have had to suffer colonization, self disrespect, degrading insults at times, plundered of our national treasures and our resources. It is time that the Indians learn to live up to their rich past and strive harder to be recognized as a coming economic and military global power. If India can export so much hi-tech and business talent, than this success can be replicated by more encouragement and other policies of the Indian government - Indians should be united as one in order to hasten and stimulate this ideal. If China can do it than India can do it as well! India is already recognized to have more brain talent than China that even they are trying to tap into. It is the dream of most NRIs' to be able to proudly say I am Indian one day!!!

Comments:  I am not at all surprised to find this fantastically rich website, it surely is a very helpful site to enrich anyone who visits it. Hinduism is universal truth and applies to all creatures, not only to Hindus. Those who ignore the wealth that Hinduism has (for regarding themselves as of different faith) do not know how much they have lost. Just try removing Hinduism (word) from the principles (laws of nature) of life that lead you to the god that you believe in, you will find the answer. The word Hinduism can be just applied to the people of the region, but the knowledge is Universal and not anyone’s property so why not enrich your souls. A brilliant piece of work.......... Comments:  I strongly believe that the Brotherhood of ILLUMINATI is a direct result of our own Ancient Indian Secret Scientific communities such as Seven Rishis and Nine Rishis. Of course there are other ways of explaining them as seven colours in the spectrum and nine planets in our solar system, but if you notice you will observe a certain pattern of rituals they follow. Their goal is same, Conservation of Science and Enlightenment of people. It is believed that this group has emerged from another secret society called Free Masons from Bavaria in Germany. And everybody who knows a bit of history knows where the Germans got their language, philosophy and Science from. Due to a threat from the Christian Lords and Popes they had been in exile ever since. It moved West, to America. It is rumoured that Illuminati has control over everything that happens around. Don't believe me?? Take a look at that dollar bill again, you will see a Pyramid with a Shining eye at the top. The symbol of Illumati. It is their way of announcing their arrival in the new world and that they will launch the New World order sooner or later. I’m waiting...

BTW, the yugas are wrongly calculated. Kal Yuga is 432000 Dwarpa is 864000 Treta is 1296000 SAt Yuga is 1728000 Total is 4320,000 Years. Which is Maha Yuga. And 1000 Mahayugas pass and that become one day of Brahma or Kapa. So that is 4320,000,000 years. The same is for a night of Brahma. I am not able to recall where the multiplication of 2 x 12 x 60 x 60 is suppose to take place.

The government of India and Azerbaijan honor territorial integrity of each other: India - territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan recognizes Jammu and Kashmir as integral territory of India. But with your help now I am proud. Thanks a lot. I want you to take the lead to rescue Hinduism. Hindus are not much threatened by terrorist but more by the conversion people. In India there is Indian Islahi organization, which is conducting seminar debates while they call for friendly debate and they propagate their religion. They use our Veda to compare their religion. Please look into their cds and try to compete with them. The orator is Mr.Zakir Naik who challenges anybody who can find fault in Koran. Please take this seriously. No child in India knows why her mother puts sindoor on her forehead or why does Hinduism have idol worship.. With all respect to every religion in the world (they all teach us one simple thing that we don’t understand and that is peace), Hinduism is by far the most mature, accepting and philosophically advanced religion in the world. Let's not let it deteriorate the way it is being done by our generation.

Wisdom and humility, and not false pride should be the guiding forces of our national life. There is no doubt that the people in India have greater tolerance and resilience than many other people in the world, but their passive acceptance of good and bad, tolerance of social ills that have crept into their lives needs to be removed. Comments:  Great website, nice compilation. Good research, this website differs from those typical eight-wing poison spewing websites especially of NRIs which keep telling us to fight back and what not. Your site has just shown us how our community has faced dangers and is continuing to face dangers, and I have found answers to caste system too. Good, Now for the future course of action. Well, as far as protection of Hinduism is concerned, we can ban conversions, educate people, etc. But why not preempt these attacks; lets remove the sources of weaknesses which vultures attack. Yes, I mean caste system, well, your articles suggest how they evolved, nice, but I am especially perturbed when I see how our own people do not treat with respect people of our own community because of their caste. Why is this? I have even read that caste system has become obsolete in the modern era, I don’t mean to take the commies stand, but is there any solution? After reading Varsha Bhosle's columns on Manual scavengers, I felt disgusted. How we could treat our co-Hindus like this? And no wonder why Christians find prey very easily, I say oh Hindus, lets set ourselves alright, and correct our some of the obsolete systems (Which might have been relevant earlier, not definitely manual scavenging) and then we find that half the battle which we are supposed to fight with 'Secularists', Jehadis and Christian missionaries, of course communist morons (as referred to as vultures), in case we people decide to take up the fight, or else it will be too late.... Pakistanis may get their dream of second partition, and Christians may get their aim of another Philippines or South Korea.
